Location: Vlissingen

Within the Sales Support team you will build your knowledge to make sure everything is done correctly for each and every site you are supporting, and/or the commodity you specialise in.

Having drastically increased our European footprint in a short period, we are looking to appoint a Sales Support Administrator.

You would be joining Lineage during an exciting period of growth and innovation, with the opportunity to make an immediate, meaningful impact.

What you will be doing

As part of the Business Development department for Benelux, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to actively support, professionalize and further improve the sales support team, its results and related sales processes.

What does that mean?

Well, we have 22 sites across the Benelux region and they all need your help. You will also ensure that all sales, quotes, new customers onboarding etc, are being dealt with correctly.

Within the Sales Support team you will build your knowledge to make sure everything is done correctly for each and every site you are supporting, and/or the commodity you specialise in.

You will typically

  • Create, maintain and improve the sales process documentation such as:

  • Introduction letter/ email (ENG+NLD)

  • Business Case Template (ENG)

  • Offers/ Quotations as per BD Managers request (ENG+NLD)

  • Contract/ price lists (document and overview) (ENG+NLD)

  • Actively support the Sales Team in the Business Development Process

  • Assist with lead attraction and offering (the administrative process in support) Eg: Making presentations, business cases, quotations if necessary; attend fairs, conferences, etc.

  • Q&A, settlement in the implementation process, Customer sales onboarding

  • General sales team support regarding appointment scheduling

Who we’re looking for

To be successful in this position, we need you to thrive in a changing environment, enjoy working fully hands-on, be open-minded and not be afraid to speak your mind.

We don’t expect you to know all the things we do and the systems we use, so we need you to be proactive in your development and keen to learn.

Our core business is logistics. We store and move fresh and frozen food, so it’s essential that all happens smoothly. Our WMS (warehouse management system) is key to deliver the best service to our clients. For that reason, we need you to be able to learn how to use our WMS and have strong attention to detail.

We need you to:

  • Be fluent Dutch and English in speaking and writing

  • Be responsible, proactive and professional

  • Be enterprising and results-oriented

  • Enjoy working as part of a team – be outgoing

You will also:

  • Be analytically strong, with good experience of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Have experience in a similar environment (such as admin support, data entry, customer support)

  • Be able to internally translate customer needs into quotes, in collaboration with Business Development Manager
