We are currently seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team, as well as working with leadership to make sure our company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

Shift Pattern:
Sunday - Thursday 21:00-06:00

The role

In this role you will:

  • Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness

  • Manage operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organisation of merchandise, and maintain warehouse inventory

  • Plan production schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments while keeping time and production records

  • Track and send reports to designated management

  • Track warehouse activities including record control, employee productivity, health and safety within the warehouse and operational volumes.

  • Ensure accidents are investigated according to the company’s accident investigation procedures

  • Assist with resolving employee concerns and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organisation

  • Ensure you are focusing on employee engagement throughout your working hours.

  • Work in a cold store environment in temperatures of around -20 degrees wearing our cold store PPE to keep you warm.

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience within a similar warehouse management or supervisory position

  • A person who has worked with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

  • Can communicate clearly with other team members in English

  • Can demonstrate good working practices

  • Can engage well with employees at all levels

  • Is good at troubleshooting

  • Recognises the importance of a positive culture

  • Can positively challenge the status quo and seeks out continuous improvement
