Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday (6:00pm – 4:30am)

*Must be able to train first 3 weeks on 1st shift

Pay: $18.00 hourly (plus $2 night shift premium per hour) - Wage is negotiable based on experience

Provide customer service to truck drivers in our shipping and receiving front office. Assist truck drivers with check in process, assigning their doors, and all the way through until they depart our facility.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers and visitors at facility
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely
  • May receive, count, and log cash received by carriers
  • Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in system
  • Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals
  • Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary
  • Answer phone calls coming into facility and transfer calls to appropriate departments
  • Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing documents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Ability to stand for at least 5 hours in total during shift
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite basic knowledge (outlook, excel, word)
  • Ability to work schedule listed. We follow an attendance point system and expect our team members to arrive on time and work full scheduled shift.
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment. Our Traffic Clerks share office space with other team members across multiple shifts.
  • Adherence to professional dress code is required
