Role Overview
The Manager will be a key member of the Origination team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that drive growth. This role will require a deep understanding of the market dynamics, competitive landscape and customer needs, as well as the ability to translate insights into actionable plans that drive results. The successful candidate will contribute to our origination efforts by building a pipeline of prospective customers that supports the company’s growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the competitive landscape to identify and prioritize opportunities, including tracking companies and identifying market trends to translate into the origination strategy
- Initiate and leverage market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the market. Evaluate regulatory developments and industry shifts that may impact the business
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to expand customer outreach and engagement
- Collaborate with marketing, development, technical services, and other key functional stakeholders to leverage the strengths of each function to support origination efforts
- Evaluate potential partnerships that can enhance the company's capabilities, expand market outreach, and create new business opportunities
- Participate in customer meetings and lead the preparation of internal and external materials
- Contribute to the development of the Origination team's processes and procedures to ensure consistency across the company and refinements to improve the processes
- Establish KPI’s and collaborate on reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership to communicate results, insights, and recommendations
- Establish a strong company presence at conferences and other industry events
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market research, financial modeling, and data-driven decision-making
- Strong critical analysis and brainstorming capabilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
- Organized and able to manage multiple activities with a high degree of accuracy
- Must be resourceful, focused, determined, and a self-starter with a proven ability to gather, synthesize, analyze and disseminate information
- Detail oriented and effective time management and organizational skills
- Highly ethical, professional, able to work in and respect diverse groups, and a commitment to team success
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point), and the ability to learn new software or applications
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred
