Authorium
About Authorium
Authorium is transforming how government agencies manage complex, document-centric workflows. Our platform integrates essential administrative functions — from procurement to contracting to budgeting — into a unified system that drives efficiency, compliance, and visibility for public-sector teams. We believe in the power of collaboration and data to modernize government operations.
The Role
We’re looking for a sharp, curious Product Analyst to join our Product team. This is a ground-floor opportunity to work directly alongside our Head of Product and Senior Product Manager — not as a note-taker, but as a real contributor shaping how we build, measure, and improve our platform.
You’ll wear multiple hats: part product manager in training, part data analyst, part market researcher. Your work will directly inform product decisions, roadmap prioritization, and how we understand our users.
This role sits at the entry point of our Product Management career ladder (Product Analyst → PM → Sr PM → Principal PM). It is designed for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a Product Management role faster than they would anywhere else.
What You’ll Do
Analytics & Insights
- Build and maintain product analytics dashboards tracking user behavior, feature adoption, engagement, and performance.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to surface actionable insights that inform product decisions.
- Define and track key product metrics and KPIs; flag anomalies and recommend responses.
Research & Discovery
- Conduct competitive and market research to identify trends, whitespace, and opportunities in the govtech landscape.
- Support user research initiatives, including synthesizing interview findings and survey results.
- Bring data-driven reasoning to roadmap prioritization conversations.
Product Development Support
- Partner with the Head of Product and Senior PM on the full product development lifecycle, from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Write product specs, user stories, and PRDs alongside senior team members.
- Translate research and analytics into inputs that strengthen product requirements and design decisions.
- New grad or up to 1 year of professional experience. We care about hunger and capability, not years on a resume.
- Genuine curiosity about products and users — you ask “why” constantly.
- Comfort working with and transforming data using SQL, Python, spreadsheets, or AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude Code).
- Clear written and verbal communication — you can explain what you found and why it matters.
- Self-starter mentality; you don’t wait to be told what to do next.
Preferred
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Interest in government, public sector technology, or civic tech.
- Experience with analytics or BI tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, or similar).
- Salary: $80,000–$93,000
- 100% employer-funded medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with Profit Sharing Plan
- Flexible PTO
- $500 home office stipend
- Commuter stipend
