Job Description
The Warehouse Technical Specialist is responsible for the preparation, configuration, maintenance, and deployment of BAM!'s fleet of computers and devices. This role sits at the intersection of warehouse operations, IT support, and internal customer service, working in close collaboration with our Engineering team, program instructors, and warehouse staff to ensure that all technology is properly configured, fully functional, and fulfilled on time.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position best suited for a self-directed professional who takes ownership of their work, maintains high standards of quality, and is committed to delivering reliable service in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Device Imaging & Fleet Management
- Image, configure, and prepare laptops and devices for deployment to instructors and staff
- Manage BAM!'s device fleet using Zoho MDM in coordination with the Engineering team
- Ensure all devices meet BAM! standards for security, software configuration, and performance
- Maintain accurate tracking of device status, assignments, and deployment readiness
Device Evaluation & Repair
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across the device fleet
- Evaluate damaged or malfunctioning equipment and perform repairs within scope
- Coordinate with vendors or internal stakeholders for repairs, replacements, or decommissioning as appropriate
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of device issues and resolutions
Warehouse & Fulfillment Support
- Support high-volume shipping and receiving operations alongside warehouse staff during peak periods
- Ensure technology is packed accurately, securely, and in accordance with fulfillment schedules
- Assist with inventory organization, device staging, and readiness audits
Technical Support & Service
- Provide responsive technical support to instructors and staff across BAM! systems and devices
- Approach all support interactions with a service-first, solution-oriented mindset
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage issue escalation appropriately while maintaining end-to-end ownership of resolutions
Qualifications
Core Competencies
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and see tasks through to completion
- Results-oriented with an interest in operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Collaborative team player with experience working across departments or functional areas
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a consistent track record of reliability
- Committed to delivering high-quality service and support
Technical Skills
- Experience imaging or configuring computers running Windows, ChromeOS, or comparable operating systems
- Familiarity with device management platforms (experience with Zoho MDM is a plus)
- Working knowledge of hardware troubleshooting for laptops, peripherals, and basic networking
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and workflows
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based at BAM!'s Colorado warehouse facility. The position involves a blend of independent technical work and collaborative warehouse support, with increased pace and volume during peak fulfillment seasons.
