Brains & Motion Education (BAM!) provides after-school enrichment programs in STEM, Arts, and Sports at schools and community locations. Our programs give students opportunities to learn new skills, explore their interests, and participate in engaging activities in a supportive environment.

Position Overview

Brains & Motion Education is seeking a Digital Arts Instructor to lead after-school enrichment activities for students in grades K–8. The ideal candidate has experience or education in digital arts, creative arts, or a related field and enjoys working with children in a classroom or enrichment setting.

This is a part-time position beginning September 15, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging digital arts and creative arts activities for students in grades K–8.

• Teach age-appropriate digital arts concepts and fundamentals.

• Guide students through creative projects and hands-on activities.

• Introduce students to digital art tools and techniques, as applicable to the assigned program.

• Adjust activities based on students' ages, skill levels, and interests.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Encourage student participation, creativity, and self-expression.

• Maintain appropriate classroom expectations and student safety.

• Follow BAM! program guidelines and communicate any student or classroom concerns as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in Digital Arts, Creative Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.

• Approximately 1–2 years of experience in digital arts, creative arts, instruction, or a related area is preferred.

• Experience working with children or youth is preferred.

• Comfortable working with students in grades K–8.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Reliable and able to arrive on time for scheduled programs.

• Reliable transportation to the assigned program location.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Willingness to complete required training.

• Ability to lift and carry approximately 20–50 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule & Compensation

Pay: $32.00/hour
Job Type: Part-Time
Start Date: September 15, 2026

Schedule:

• Tuesdays: 1:35 PM – 4:10 PM PST

• Thursdays: 1:45 PM – 4:10 PM PST
