We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to help us design, build, and enhance our infrastructure while we deliver the next generation of our applications and services that support the Carrum Health vision. This role will play a critical role in our success. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be deeply involved in the design and development of our data models, APIs, and applications. You’ve hustled, you’ve implemented, and you love the intensity of a startup in high-growth mode.
The salary range for this role is $170k - $200k plus bonus.

We’re excited about you because…
- You have 10+ years of professional experience in software development engineering and technical leadership with a desire to grow the team and develop their skills.
- Not afraid to code in a variety of languages including Ruby and Python to build services and applications and share your knowledge with engineers on the team.
- Experience with AWS technologies and resource to add the architecture and manage the infrastructure that support all business operations
- You can support key decisions working cross-functionally across our engineering, operations, client success and provider teams to reach the right conclusions and outcomes.
- You have a high degree of familiarity with software development processes, tools, metrics and best practices. You can easily recount multiple examples of leading software projects with multiple work streams across various functional teams (like engineering, product, data science, marketing, customer success, legal)
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful — As an early member of a startup, we need people who can find creative ways to make a big impact quickly and without much direction.
- Experience handling deadlines, keeping many balls in the air, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
