Carrum Health

Chicago, IL, USA
Posted on Friday, September 15, 2023

At Carrum, we live and breathe the mission of transforming the healthcare system to create an unmatched experience for patients. If you are passionate about changing healthcare and want to finally get rid of surprise bills, poor quality, and high prices, while thriving in an entrepreneurial, cutting-edge environment, we would love to connect with you.

In 2014 Carrum reinvented the Center of Excellence (CoE) category in digital health. We are the only company in this space with a digital platform and mobile app powering this novel marketplace. Today, most of the US population lives within at most a 2-3 hour driving distance of a Carrum CoE and our providers rank in the top 10% nationally. Our team’s execution has been recognized by the venture community and we’ve raised almost $100M in aggregate from investors like OMERS, Tiger Global Management and Wildcat Ventures. Our impact has been externally proven in a 2021 RAND Corporation study and featured as a Harvard Business School (HBS) case study.

Reporting to the Chief Network Officer, you will own the development and launch of world-class bundled payment solutions. Working closely with the Provider Business Development team, you will initially focus on substance-use disorder treatment. You will identify product features and benefits to meet the needs and wants of our customers and coordinate with many multi-functional stakeholders to ensure successful go-to-market launches of our new bundled products.

As an ideal candidate, you are a structured thinker who can take challenges and break them down into achievable steps. You can effectively work in a multi-stakeholder environment where your success depends on your ability to influence others. You have experience in substance-use disorder treatment and want to bring the most innovative patient experience to market. You’ve hustled, you’ve created, you’ve implemented, and you love the intensity of a startup in high-growth mode.

This is a full time position with the opportunity to work remotely. Carrum has offices in Chicago and San Francisco that are available on an optional basis.

The salary range for this role is $140k - $185k (depending on geography and level of experience), plus an annual bonus.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Make effective cost/benefit trade-offs given limited company resources
  • Lead the project management of all contributing functions to ensure that everyone understands their deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies that allow products to be built and delivered to the market on-time
  • Lead the project management of post-launch product issues, working with all cross functional stakeholders to proactively identify, prioritize and drive issue resolution. Determine which require scaled efforts to configure the product vs. are one-off fixes
  • Track product performance that contribute to company-wide OKRs (e.g., transactions, revenue)
  • Educate operational teams on product features and design as needed to ensure optimal patient experience and outcomes
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, contributing to the development and execution of go-to-market and other sales marketing programs
