We are looking for a Care Operations Specialist to help us build and execute scalable processes that are critical to the success of our Patient Care Organization. Reporting to the Manager, Patient Care Operations, you will own the patient travel experience at Carrum are responsible for the ongoing execution of the patient travel program.
The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 depending on geography and level of experience, plus equity and an annual bonus.

- Own patient travel at Carrum. You are responsible for making sure the process works for our patients and works for us as an organization.
- Analyze travel workflows and make suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with new client and new provider onboarding and ensure that workflows are updated to account for any necessary changes.
- Evangelize standardization and simplification whenever possible and help ensure best practices are followed by your peers on the Patient Care Team.
- Work cross-functionally with your peers in the Patient Care, Client Success, and Provider Operations teams to solve problems and respond to their needs as it pertains to patient travel.
- Own processing and execution for other critical patient tasks.

You have experience in the digital health space with experience leading teams in a start-up environment that work directly with patients to improve their health. - 2 years of experience in roles that work with patients or end-users of digital health platforms
- Commitment to providing the highest level of service through the right mix of empathy, professionalism, and integrity
- The ability to cut through the noise of a fast-paced start-up environment and affect real change that impacts your direct reports and the patients that rely on them
- Appropriately handle confidential information and adhere to HIPAA requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong “patient first” values
- Data-driven and analytical skills; able to effectively analyze and communicate data to drive high-value, actionable insights, and lead your team
- Experience handling aggressive deadlines, keeping many balls in the air, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with self-funded employer benefit plans and an understanding of healthcare bundled payment models are both serious pluses
- An entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem solving, and innovative thinking
- A natural self-starter who is comfortable working independently
