At Carrum Health, we have built a unique marketplace for specialty care with unparalleled patient experience
Since 2014, we have been rewiring a fundamentally broken healthcare system. By connecting large employers directly with the nation's top-tier providers, our platform replaces a flawed fee-for-service model with one that actually works. If you are passionate about solving complex economic problems, driving systemic change in our healthcare system, and thriving in a people-first culture, we want you on our team. As a high-growth health tech company, we are seeking high-performing, exceptional talent to scale our platform and ensure that anyone in the country facing a specialty procedure has access to the life-changing Carrum benefit.
Our marketplace creates massive value for all stakeholders:
For Employers (Demand): Predictable, transparent pricing that slashes specialty care costs by up to 45% and eliminates waste
For Providers (Supply): Ability to gain market share while reducing administrative burden, empowering top-tier doctors to focus completely on delivering optimal care.
For Members (Users): A life-changing benefit with dedicated concierges, VIP access to the nation's best specialists, and little-to-no out-of-pocket costs.
The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $210,000 depending on geography and level of experience, plus equity and an annual bonus.
We're hiring a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to own growth: the experiences that turn awareness of Carrum into members who start, and finish, an episode of care. You'll bring consumer-tech craft in marketing experiences, landing pages, and conversion funnels to a business with proven product-market fit. We see a lot of opportunity to expand, grow, and help more members than we ever have, and this role is how we capture it.
Growth at Carrum is different. Employers buy Carrum for their people, so millions of members are already covered, but most don't know the benefit exists at the moment they need it. Your job is to reach them at the right time and place, make the value obvious, and remove every step between "something is wrong" and the care they need. Finding the right time and place is a machine learning problem, so you'll partner closely with our ML team on the models that identify those members and moments, and push them on what's possible. You'll also own the top of our employer funnel: the pages and flows that turn benefits leaders and consultants into qualified demos.
As Carrum expands into lower-acuity service lines (higher-volume, simpler procedures where members largely self-serve), you may also help grow them: shaping the find-and-book experience, the launch funnel, and the metrics that tell us a new line is working.
You'll lead a self-contained growth pod (engineers, design, and a technical lead), partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Care, and report to the Head of Product (the CPTO in the interim).
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...
Own the growth funnel end to end. Map, instrument, and improve every stage from first touch to a confirmed episode, for members and for employers. Set the north-star and stage metrics, and be accountable for moving them.
Build marketing experiences that convert. Own landing pages, campaign destinations, eligibility check and sign-up flows, and the employer demo and savings-analysis paths. Ship fast, measure honestly, and kill what doesn't work.
Run a real experimentation program. Stand up A/B testing, attribution, and analytics hygiene where little exists today. Build a backlog of hypotheses, ship a steady cadence of tests, and share what you learn.
Reach members at the moment of need. Partner with Marketing and our employer, health plan, and navigation partners to design activation journeys across email, SMS, web, and co-branded partner surfaces, mobile-first and written for every literacy level. Work with our ML team to define who to reach and when, and hold those models to a high bar.
Grow new lower-acuity service lines. Help launch and scale simpler, high-volume procedures with a self-serve find-and-book experience, clear pricing, and a funnel that works without a human in every step.
Make the content system scale. Work with Design and Marketing to move us from one-off pages to a reusable, testable component and content system, so Marketing can launch without waiting on engineering.
Build with AI. Prototype new pages and flows with AI in hours, put them in front of members, and ship copy, layout, and experiment changes to production yourself. Bring growth patterns that are native to AI rather than bolted on.
Respect the stakes. Healthcare growth has guardrails. You'll work with Clinical and Compliance so that we optimize for the right care, not just more procedures, and handle health data (PHI) correctly.
We’re excited about you because you bring…
Consumer growth experience. 4+ years in product management (6+ for Senior PM), with meaningful time on growth, acquisition, or activation at a consumer tech company or a consumer-facing product at scale.
Funnels you personally moved. You've owned a conversion funnel and can walk us through the numbers: baseline, what you changed, what moved, and what didn't. Specific metrics, not "we improved engagement."
AI-reflexive. Reaching for AI is your default, not an experiment. You build working prototypes yourself (with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or Lovable) instead of writing a spec and waiting, and you're comfortable shipping small changes to production yourself, with engineering review. Show us something you built and shipped in the last month.
Landing page and marketing-experience craft. You've shipped high-converting landing pages, onboarding, or sign-up flows, and you have strong opinions about message, hierarchy, friction, and trust signals.
Experimentation rigor. Hands-on with A/B testing, analytics, and attribution tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4, Optimizely, Segment). You know sample sizes, novelty effects, and when a test result is lying.
Comfort with data. You can pull your own numbers in SQL or a BI tool rather than waiting in a queue.
Strong partnership with Marketing and Design. You've worked side by side with marketers and designers, and you can make a page better in a review, not just approve it.
A builder's bias for speed. You've worked in a high-growth environment, ship in small increments, and are comfortable with ambiguity and an under-built stack.
Clear, honest communication. You write crisp specs and readouts, and you're credible with executives, sales, and clinical partners alike.
Nice to have
Find-compare-book experience. You've shipped a transactional booking or checkout flow where conversion, price display, and scheduling were the product (e.g., marketplaces, travel, local services, telehealth).
B2B2C or benefits-mediated growth. You've grown a product where an employer, health plan, or partner controls access to the end user.
Digital health or regulated consumer products. Experience with HIPAA, PHI-aware analytics and tracking, or consent-driven marketing.
Lifecycle and CRM. Hands-on with email and SMS journeys and marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, Braze, Iterable, Customer.io).
Website stack fluency. Comfortable with headless CMS, WordPress, or page builders, plus SEO and site-performance basics.
AI in production. You've shipped LLM-powered features such as personalization, content generation, or conversational intake.
Working with ML teams. You've partnered with data science or ML teams on targeting, propensity, or recommendation models. You understand how these models work and how to judge them (precision, recall, lift), so you know what's possible, set ambitious requirements, and challenge the team instead of settling for the first model delivered.
