Field Marketing Manager
As a Field Marketing Manager at City Innovate, you will be a key member of our marketing team, focused on creating and executing strategic field marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, engage with local communities, and generate leads. This is a full-time position based remotely with occasional travel as needed.
- Local Engagement Strategy: Develop and execute field marketing strategies to engage with local communities, government agencies, and key stakeholders from our book of business.
- Event Management: Prioritize, plan, organize, and execute events, trade shows, conferences, and seminars to promote City Innovate's solutions and build relationships within the target market.
- Lead Generation: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to generate leads through targeted field marketing initiatives, aligning with overall company goals.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate partnerships with local organizations, associations, and influencers to enhance the company's presence in the community.
- Content Localization: Work closely with content creators to localize marketing materials (by city, state, etc), ensuring that messaging is tailored to resonate with the specific needs of the local audience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales teams to understand regional priorities and align field marketing efforts with sales objectives.
- Budget Management: Effectively manage and forecast the field marketing budget, ensuring maximum ROI for all initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Implement tracking mechanisms to measure the success of field marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to inform future strategies.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in field marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful local engagement strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan and execute events and initiatives on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with local stakeholders and partners.
- Experience in lead generation through field marketing activities, with a focus on measurable results.
- Familiarity with the technology industry, especially in the context of smart cities and public sector innovation.
- Ability to travel as needed for events and initiatives.
- Experience in government or the public sector is a plus.
