About The Role
Graphika is growing our Sales teams in response to growing demand for our Telescope custom intelligence offering and our newest always-on intelligence product, Atlas. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and supporting sales opportunities through inbound and outbound sales activities. The right candidate will be personable, down-to-earth, self-driven, tenacious, and a true team player. You'll be goal-oriented and laser-focused on getting results, consistently generating qualified leads for our Account Executives.
Areas of Responsibility
While your daily activities will be dynamic, a successful SDR at Graphika will typically:
- Identify and qualify high-quality prospects daily through meticulous research across various platforms (LinkedIn, industry news, company websites, etc.).
- Initiate and manage personalized outbound sequences for these prospects across email, phone, and social channels, to spark interest and initiate conversations.
- Successfully book outbound meetings each week for our Account Executive team with thoroughly qualified potential customers.
- Proactively respond to, engage with, and expertly qualify inbound leads and inquiries, ensuring a rapid and professional follow-up.
- Conduct in-depth company and contact research to tailor your outreach messages and personalize your approach for maximum impact.
- Effectively articulate Graphika's value proposition and intelligently address initial prospect questions and objections.
- Utilize and meticulously update our CRM (HubSpot) to track all activities, manage pipelines, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate closely with our Marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and contribute ideas for compelling sales materials and campaigns.
- Work hand-in-hand with Account Executives to ensure a smooth and effective hand-off of qualified opportunities.
- Continuously refine your sales messaging and outreach strategies based on performance data and feedback.
- Support strategic initiatives and projects to further Sales team objectives and Graphika’s goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This position requires an ambitious self-starter who thrives on the hunt for new business and can execute outbound sales tasks with tenacity and creativity. Exceptional relationship development skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a high volume of outreach activities and time-bound tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate should be eager to shape a new and growing sales function, contributing to critical processes and outreach strategies. We're looking for someone who is truly goal-oriented and focused on getting results by consistently exceeding their targets.
Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) role, preferably at a technology startup or relevant SaaS or DaaS company.
- Familiarity with OSINT intelligence offerings or a willingness to spend significant time learning the industry and competitive landscape.
- Proven ability to research, prospect, and qualify leads effectively.
- Comfort in initiating conversations and identifying initial customer needs before a full product pitch.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic Zoom/phone presence.
- A strong desire to work toward daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to meetings booked and qualified opportunities, demonstrating a results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to learn new products and effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
- Self-motivated with a diligent work ethic, including understanding that workload may fluctuate with market interest and pipeline demands.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment – a true team player.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (HubSpot preferred), prospecting tools (LinkedIn SalesNavigator, ZoomInfo) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
- Experience with Hubspot CRM, Docusign, and Slack is preferred
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year institution or equivalent work experience
