Position: Production Support Specialist

The Production Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting and expediting the pre-production and production process.

This is a fully remote position where you will collaborate with a talented team to design and develop engaging eLearning and virtual reality simulation content for the skilled trades industry.

As a Production Support Specialist, you will work collaboratively with HR, finance, curriculum managers, 3D artists, and subject matter experts to create effective, engaging, and accurate learning materials. Your primary role will be to assist in and expedite the development of instructional content, design course materials, and support the implementation of training programs. In addition, you will be the main point of contact for our pool of subject matter experts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Onboard and support new and existing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

  • Work closely with SMEs to gather accurate and relevant information

  • Research topics and gather reference materials

  • Develop art asset lists from course outlines

  • Create complete and thorough art asset requests for 2D images, animation, and 3D hero assets and environments

  • Create visual reference guides

  • Track project statuses and report to stakeholders

  • Review in progress course assets and provide feedback

  • Use an LMS to build and QA courses before publication

  • Assist with translation requests

  • Fill in production gaps, as necessary

  • Interest in VR, Gaming, and Adult Learning: You are passionate about using innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance adult learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1+ year experience in Instructional Design, eLearning or a related field

  • LMS Experience: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems

  • Knowledge of Learning Theory: Understanding of instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM, as well as competency-based learning.

  • Video Production Skills: Familiarity with video production and editing, particularly using Camtasia.

  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in using Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack

  • Next Steps: We will ask you to record a video intro for the hiring team if your application looks like a potential match. Instructions will be sent.
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.

Pay: $55-60k
