Credit Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supervise daily credit operations, including credit reviews, approvals, and account setups.
- Monitor and manage credit limits, terms, and risk exposure for North American customers.
- Lead and mentor a team of credit professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulations (e.g., UCC, FCRA).
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance to resolve credit-related issues and disputes.
- Partner with the Collections Team to limit financial risk.
- Serve as a liaison between Data Management, Revenue Management, and Collection teams to ensure the integrity and ongoing maintenance of customer hierarchy structure.
- Drive the alignment of global best practices across Lineage’s Credit teams by standardizing processes and policies.
- Analyze financial statements, payment history, and market conditions to assess creditworthiness.
- Recommend credit holds, escalations, or collection actions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on credit performance and risk metrics.
- Support audits and internal controls related to credit management.
- Drive continuous improvement in credit processes and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in credit management, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements.
- Familiarity with North American credit laws and commercial practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment with minimal supervision.
