Maintenance Technician
Lineage
Shift: Monday–Tuesday 5:00am–1:30pm and Wednesday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm, some Saturday work as needed.
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our facility and equipment running safely and efficiently, working hands-on with a variety of systems while following all safety standards and best practices. We’re looking for someone with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and forklift maintenance experience (strongly preferred), ammonia refrigeration knowledge (a plus, but not required), and a solid mechanical aptitude paired with a willingness to learn through both formal training and on-the-job experience.Key Responsibilities:
Inspecting, calibrating, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the facility
Supporting building systems, machinery, and exterior grounds as needed
Performing basic inspections and repairs on refrigeration systems
Completing preventive maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment following manufacturer and company guidelines
Documenting inspections, maintenance work, and equipment status, and communicating updates to leadership daily
Pitching in with other maintenance tasks as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
Use power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment to repair or fabricate parts
Safely operate lifts and other motorized or rental equipment as needed for maintenance tasks
Minimum Requirements:

1+ year of maintenance experience (or a combination of hands-on experience and trade school) in one or more of the following:
Building maintenance
Material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance
Refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO₂)
Ability to complete preventive maintenance tasks with instructions and minimal supervision
Comfort using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with all levels of the facility
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to work in cold storage environments as low as -20°F / -25°C or dry storage environments up to 100°F / 37°C, with company-provided PPE and freezer gear
Ability to lift 50 lbs. / 23 kg (requirements may vary by site)
Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends as needed
Comfort working in environments with varying noise levels
Some locations require comfort and experience working at heights
