We are looking for an aspiring Coldstore Team Leader to join our team. This is your opportunity to begin your career progression, working alongside experienced leaders, and making a direct impact on the success of the company and the satisfaction of our customers.
Shift Available: Coldstore - 3 Static Nights working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Nights 18:00-06:00
Rate of Pay: £15.59 per hour, plus £50.00 per week shift allowance.
The Role
As a Team Leader at Lineage, you will have the opportunity to:
Supervise and coach your team to success, providing training, feedback, and direction to ensure a high standard of service, safety, and productivity.
Manage operational processes such as incoming and outgoing shipments, product organisation, and warehouse inventory management.
Coordinate and plan schedules, allocating resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Track warehouse activities, ensuring product availability and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with material handling equipment and resolve issues efficiently to maintain team productivity.
Resolve employee issues and maintain clear communication with all levels of the organisation.
Take on special projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
What Are We Looking For?
A strong desire to develop your leadership skills and progress in your career.
Previous experience in warehouse or logistics.
Problem-solving and conflict management skills.
Comfortable working in a cold storage environment with temperatures of around -18 degrees.
Clear communication skills in English.
Own transport is required due to limited public transport options at NG22 8TX.
A flexible attitude towards work, including the possibility of weekend shifts.
