Facility Maintenance Manager
Lineage
What You’ll Do:
Lead, coach, and develop your maintenance team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and daily direction to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Maintain a safe and compliant facility by implementing fire, safety, environmental, and health programs.
Plan, schedule, and manage all maintenance work using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Work with the facility General Manager to develop and manage budgets for labor and materials; monitor utility usage and implement energy-saving solutions.
At automated facilities, plan and schedule preventive maintenance events and work directly with automation vendors during hardware and software commissioning.
Recommend future capital projects for facility improvements and ensure they are completed on time.
Lead site-specific energy efficiency projects in partnership with our Energy Management team.
Provide input on design and management of future building or automation projects in collaboration with Network Optimization.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED (additional education is a plus!)
5+ years of experience managing facility maintenance teams, including resource planning
For automated facilities: 4+ years managing automated warehouses or distribution centers
Experience working with ammonia, Freon, or CO2 refrigeration systems (for temperature-controlled facilities)
Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan compliance
Solid mechanical and electrical skills
Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you’ll be working with all levels of the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage or up to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage, using company-provided PPE and freezer gear
Comfortable working in varying noise levels
