Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Lineage
If you have Forklift or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) maintenance experience, we want to talk to you. Experience with refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, or CO₂) is a strong plus.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work alongside our leadership team to install, maintain, and repair equipment that keeps our warehouse operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections, preventative maintenance (PMs), and repairs on:
Forklifts and MHE equipment (highly valued experience)
Mechanical and electrical systems
Building systems, plumbing, and facility structures
Conduct preventative maintenance on MHE according to manufacturer and company guidelines to ensure safe, reliable operation
Perform inspections and basic repairs on refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, or CO₂ experience is a plus)
Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status updates to leadership
Support general facility and grounds maintenance as needed
Additional Responsibilities
Operate power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment
Safely use lifts and other motorized equipment for inspections and repairs
What You Bring

At least 1 year of maintenance experience (or trade school training) in one or more of the following:
Forklift / MHE maintenance (strongly preferred)
Building or industrial maintenance
Refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO₂ a plus) (strongly preferred)
Ability to perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervision
Comfort working with electrical components
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
Work Environment
Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from -20°F (cold storage/freezer) to 100°F (dry warehouse) with provided PPE and freezer gear
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. (may vary by facility)
Flexible schedule availability, including weekends as needed
Some locations require working at heights and in loud environments
