Payroll Associate
Lineage
Key Responsibilities:
Mail Processing:
- Open and scan mail for distribution to responsible parties, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Review mail for opportunities to enroll in paperless communications, promoting digital transformation and reducing paper usage.
Payroll Support:
- Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks, such as submitting garnishments and processing payroll-related documents.
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management, providing accurate and timely information.
HR Support:
- Assist the local HR team with completing forms, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, as needed.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform other administrative tasks assigned by management, such as data entry, record-keeping, and special projects.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or a related field; experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or transportation industry.
- Basic knowledge of HR and payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
