IT Client Services Partner

The Client Service Partner focuses on managing the internal client relationships and acts as a client/customer advocate in support of Lineage Logistics’ Operations organization. This is a “mission critical” role within Lineage Logistics IT by acting as a conduit of information and agent of change. The more intimately involved Lineage IT is with our clients’ strategies, issues and concerns, the more value we can contribute by aligning our resources and direction to meet their needs. You will own the relationship with our clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all key stakeholders. Furthermore, you will hold the key to unlocking value with our clients, collecting insight and seeking out opportunities to grow our service catalog and strategic delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Client Services Partner works directly with Lineage operational leadership to meet their technology needs, including but not limited to regular account management communications, regional and warehouse site visits within an assigned region, and internal advocacy and monitoring of technology performance and projects affecting their internal client operations.
- Operates as “the voice of the customer,” and advocate for Operations and an evangelist for IT
- Develop trusting relationships with operational leaders in one’s assigned region
- Serve as the key point of contact between facility General Managers and IT
- Demonstrate expertise around Lineage technology procurement, project management, and equipment standards
- Provide operational leaders with visibility to the Lineage portfolio of projects that will affect their scope of operations
- Advocate with IT leadership on behalf of assigned operational leaders to ensure that facilities and operational teams are well equipped to perform their assigned work
- Develop a deep understanding of the technological profile and needs of facilities within one’s assigned region
- Assist operational leaders in developing and managing a multi-year view (or “roadmap” of technology that is necessary to optimize their facilities and financial performance
- Coordinate with Lineage technology teams to ensure that scheduled projects do not interfere with the underlying “rhythm of the business” within their assigned facilities
- Help coordinate and manage changes to the technology within warehouses to ensure that business disruptions are kept to a minimum
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or four years relevant working experience.

Beneficial Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Ability to work with diverse workforce and with all levels of management (ethnicity, language and education levels)
- Customer service experience in warehousing, and/or logistics
- Expertise with Microsoft suite
- 5 – 7 years of technology experience, with exposure and experience across an large enterprise environment – familiarity with telecommunications, networking, infrastructure, applications, user devices, and mobile technologies
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a client-facing representative of a technology function, working with business owners to improve their technology experience
- 5 – 7 years of experience leading and monitoring a portfolio of projects on behalf of internal or external customers
- 5- 7 years of experience as an individual contributor or functional manager, influencing decisions and priority in the absence of operational authority to make the decision
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or supply chain/ logistics
- Preferred experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF equipment
- Preferred experience with corporate IT governance standards (e.g. ITIL)
- Preferred experience with project management certification (e.g. PMP)
