Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A
Lineage
You will work with Field Finance, Commercial Finance, Accounting, Sales, IT, Investor Relations, Treasury and others in this role, helping to streamline and improve existing processes or create new ones. You will succeed by being independently driven and intellectually curious. Your process driven approach, strong communication, problem solving skills, and customer service mentality will allow you to confidently support strong decision making by Lineage leadership.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support annual multi-year strategic plan (three-year model), annual business plan (i.e. budget), and quarterly forecast processes for the North American portfolio, ensuring alignment with key strategic initiatives
- Support monthly reporting process, quarterly reporting and earnings calls, and quarterly board of directors meeting deliverables
- Drive financial results via data analysis, including key trends, variance analysis, and development of financial models for decision support
- Own fixed commitment and volume guarantee tracking and reporting processes
- Interpret contractual language to confirm proper reporting of fixed commitments by partnering with sales leads in North America
- Timely monthly tracking and ad hoc reporting of core fixed commitment data for all sites, including new sites prior to Workday system integration
- Own and complete process to capture revenue by customer and fixed commitment data for newly acquired facilities
- Support fixed commitment financial reporting from a managerial and accounting perspective
- Support capex reporting and analysis
- Ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years finance experience, preferably in FP&A or similar
- Financial forecasting and budgeting experience required
- Financial reporting and variance analysis experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with financial management tools required (preference for Workday Adaptive Planning (formerly Adaptive Insights), Workday, Power BI, Sigma, Salesforce)
- Detail and process oriented, with the ability to design and implement process improvements
- Must have strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills
- Self-starter with the ability to streamline processes and a passion to learn and grow
- Leadership ability, willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and thoughts
- Commitment to providing outstanding internal customer service support
