Pay: $25-31/hr

SHIFT: Sunday-Thursday (5x8s, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) or Sunday- Wednesday (4x10s, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys keeping equipment running and solving mechanical challenges? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician with forklift/MHE experience to join our team and help keep our operation running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll focus on maintaining and repairing material handling equipment (MHE)—including forklifts—while also supporting general facility maintenance.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other MHE (top priority)
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the facility
• Support facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs
• Inspect, maintain, and perform basic repairs on refrigeration systems
• Complete daily inspections, documentation, and maintenance reports
• Partner with leadership to communicate equipment status and improvements

Additional Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment such as power tools, lifts, and welding/cutting equipment
• Safely use motorized lifts and rental equipment as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of maintenance experience (or trade school) in areas like:
  • Forklift/MHE maintenance (preferred)
  • Building/facilities maintenance
  • Refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, or CO₂ is a plus)
• Experience with or willingness to learn preventive maintenance programs
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills for tracking work and reporting
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable communicating with team members at all levels

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in varying temperatures (from freezer environments as low as -20°F to warmer areas) with provided PPE
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, depending on the task
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime or weekends as needed
• Some locations may have loud environments or require working at heights
