What You’ll Do
- Monitor and regulate trailer and yard temperatures, ensuring optimal conditions at all times; refuel equipment as needed to maintain uninterrupted operations
- Conduct thorough daily inspections of spotter trucks and related equipment to ensure safety and performance
- Promptly report any defects, damages, accidents, or traffic violations involving vehicles or equipment
- Accurately track and document trailer movements and fuel usage through detailed logkeeping
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate daily trailer movements and priorities
Additional Contributions
- Verify trailer inventory and promptly report discrepancies or irregularities using proper documentation procedures
- Support operational excellence by performing assigned sanitation and cleanliness tasks on trailers
What You Bring to the Team
- At least 6 months of experience operating tractor trailers and/or heavy equipment
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in the designated work language
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 40 lbs. (18 kg), with potential for higher requirements based on facility needs
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and shifts as required
