About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Supervisor to join the team at Lineage. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility in Timaru, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our services to our valued clients.

This is a full-time position leading a team of up to 10 team members.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of warehouse operatives to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and within set timelines

• Monitoring and optimising warehouse workflows and processes to drive productivity and operational excellence

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

• Providing regular reporting and performance updates to senior management

• Fostering a positive, co-operative and safety-focused work culture

• Assisting with the training and development of warehouse staff

What we're looking for

• Experience (3+ years) in a warehouse or logistics operations supervisory role

• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a logistics environment

• A cooperative and adaptable relationship builder with a focus on continuous improvement.
