As a member of Lineage’s Global Marketing & Communications team, the Creative Manager will play a critical role on a growing team with a focus on visualizing the brand through graphic artistry. The Creative Manager will own and lead our global creative process and serve as the MarComm team’s creative visionary to achieve a consistent look and feel across a variety of channels and evolve the brand. You will work with members of the global Marketing and Communications team, third party partners and stakeholders to lead and develop new and effective visual communication strategies that support the global brand and business objectives. This position can be fully remote, or hybrid out of our Novi, MI headquarters.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leverage established brand elements and a fresh perspective to lead and own the creative process and develop high-impact content, materials and assets from ideation to design (own entire creative process)
  • Lead and own the creative process to ideate and develop effective visuals to support our internal and external content strategies, including (but not limited to):
    • Major company collateral (including annual sustainability report, annual impact report, intelligence report)
    • Support for the Lineage Foundation for Good
    • Digital and social media creative (including campaign creative for organic and paid, white papers, case studies, webinars)
    • Animated and static infographics
    • Digital and print ads
    • Internal creative (including intranet design, newsletters and digital signage, facility collateral)
    • Customer-facing collateral (including materials for QBRs, top-to-tops, RFPs)
  • Develop creative concepts, storyboards and art layouts based on creative visions and ideas
  • Understanding global marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience
  • Own the creative process with vendors and internal teams to lead content development that further the Marketing & Communication department’s goals, including Lineage’s creative agency, media & strategy agency, videographers, photographers and web developers
  • Collaborate with writers, other marketing team members, and external partners to ensure the appropriate concepts, themes, and messages are represented effectively and consistently for the business objective(s) and audience(s)
  • Use a fresh perspective to update brand book, creative playbooks, and other materials to evolve the visual brand and accurately reflect company growth, services, and objectives
  • Work with third party partners to implement sophisticated, engaging and user-friendly web designs
  • Manage photo and video partners to build out our asset library, including scheduling photo and video shoots and managing production, and manage/catalog all visual assets
  • Be the MarComm team’s SME on all photo and video assets
  • Emerging skills or interest in photography and videography (both shooting and post-edit) is a major plus

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

  • Required to provide a portfolio of past work with proven excellence and innovation in graphic design and creative direction in support of industry-leading brands
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in graphic design, motion graphics, advertising or related field
  • Experience being the lead creative on projects with multiple stakeholders, leading meetings and managing agency relationships
  • Experience with having ownership of brand vision and direction
  • Master in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for core job functions and communication
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically while adhering to brand standards and channel objectives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an enthusiastic, flexible approach to collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and own projects through to completion, strong project management and process skills
  • Process driven
  • A passion for high-impact design and communication, with the ability to come to the table with new ideas and recommendations
  • Be a highly motivated, quick-learning self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Proficiency in QuarkXPress, XML and HTML is a plus
