We are currently recruiting for a Training Co-Ordinator to join our team located at our Belle Eau Park depot in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.
Train employees on systems, equipment, functions, and safety while following all regulatory and company standards, policies, and procedures. Work closely with the Training Team to meet the corporate onboarding training requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver and control the depot with its training requirements
To ensure that all training functions/procedures/Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance are followed and adhered to as required by the Company
Train and develop new starters to deliver knowledgeable and safe colleagues to the shifts
Deliver refresher and up-skilling training to all colleagues
Arrange 3rd party training support as and when necessary
Must be willing to undertake RTITB trainer training
Role covers for days and nights
Must be willing to travel to other UK sites on occasion
Support and assist the General Manager and Operations Managers to ensure all functions and company procedures are followed by all, and that staff are adequately and suitably trained
Ensure that targets and standards are achieved, and procedures are followed as specified in relevant Job Descriptions
Champion pro-active approach in improving systems and training through communications to Team Leaders/Managers and other departments
Supporting the site with onboarding and employee inductions
Ensure training records are fully up to date and complaint
Ensure correct use of the Warehouse Management Systems and deliver training when required
Ensure MHE/ telematic systems are fully operational and utilised
Work with HR to deliver Lineage management training
Ensure that accident investigation procedures are completed in the timescales required by the Company
Training of specific policies, procedures relevant SSOW’s and Manual Handling appropriate to individual roles and risk assessments
Effective and efficient mentoring and ‘buddying’ of all new recruits to ensure they settle safely into the workplace, understand their responsibilities, and feel valued
Arrange/conduct feedback sessions to understand any concerns and to implement corrective measures with the assistance of the site management
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy managing a team and be a present leader.
Previous experience working with operational training is essential.
A process focused person that enjoys coaching & mentoring others to become the best that they can be.
Due to the nature of this role there will be needed to show some flexibility to work on different shift patterns when necessary.
Holding IOSH and NEBOSH certifications would be ideal but not essential
