HR Business Partner, Sri Lanka

The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 2,500 team members.
As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to lead our Sri Lankan operation with an approximate headcount of 80 team members.
The role will report to the HR APAC region with a dotted reporting line to the local Country Leader.
This is an exciting and diverse role with a scope of work which includes but is not limited to recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent management, employee relations, learning & development and HRIS systems.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting Leaders to build strong employee relationships and champion a culture of engagement and performance.
Working collaboratively with all Leaders in the delivery of HR projects/strategies cascaded regionally.
Accountability for HR Services such as onboarding, employee engagement and learning and development plans.
Coaching Leaders on supporting the employee lifecycle from commencement to separation.
Supporting Leaders with the performance, reward, discipline, and feedback process.
Oversee payroll data.
Ensuring HR policies are regularly reviewed and aligned to local labour laws.
Manage the recruitment process of all positions.
Delivering the performance, talent, and succession planning cycle.
Facilitating training workshops.
Ensuring the generation of monthly HR related reports and presentations.
Maintaining accurate employee records and efficient people processes.
Drafting employment contracts and letters.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
A Degree qualification in HR, Business or Commerce.
5 years’ plus experience as a Generalist HR professional or recent experience as a HR Business Partner/Manager.
Excellent knowledge of local labour laws.
A credible track record in employee relations including performance management, conflict, and dispute resolution.
Extensive experience in resourcing and recruitment.
Experience in managing the employee life cycle.
Experience with Payroll processes.
Experience with Workday is advantageous.
Quick learner and self-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
Understands how to work in a matrix organization.
