We are a growing organization and currently looking for a passionate and motivated Production Labourer to join our winning team.

Reports To: Supervisor
Shift: Various | Days/Afternoons/Nights/Weekends

Office/Facility: Valley Facility – Abbotsford, BC

POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Labourer is responsible for supporting the facility in processing during the berry season. This includes prepping, maintaining, moving and labelling of berry totes and cleaning processing equipment while maintaining company standards for safety, security, and productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participates in a culture where Health & Safety is the #1 priority and complies with all regulatory and company safety requirements.
• Ensures that all Food Safety Program GMP’s are followed
• Assemble and move totes.
• Level product in within totes during processing.
• Wrap and label full totes.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly facility.
• Follows procedures to ensure the accurate, efficient and safe operation of all equipment (i.e. manual and electric pallet jacks).
• Comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Report all building failures, including racking, lighting, floors, etc.
• Clean dock and warehouse floors as well as production equipment as per quality standards.

• Perform other duties as required.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Experience is not essential, but related work experience would be an asset. Training provided.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Ability to take direction, learns quickly, communicate effectively and work with a team.
• Ability to read and count accurately, do simple math and write legibly
• Experience using RF Scanners and warehouse management system would be an asset.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Driven to provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution and team building abilities.
• Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude.
• Takes initiative, is proactive in their work, and results-oriented.

Pay Range:$22.48 - $26.47
