The ESG Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's ESG reporting and compliance activities. This role requires an in-depth understanding of global ESG standards, regulations, and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ESG Reporting and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with the CSRD and other global ESG reporting requirements.
    • Develop and implement robust ESG reporting frameworks and processes.
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely ESG reports, including sustainability reports, carbon disclosures, and other required documentation.
  • Data Management and Analysis:
    • Collect, manage, and analyze ESG-related data from various global operations.
    • Maintain accurate records and databases of ESG performance metrics.
    • Utilize data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Policy Development and Implementation:
    • Develop and update company ESG policies and procedures in line with evolving regulations and best practices.
    • Ensure alignment of ESG policies with corporate strategy and objectives.
    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of ESG policies and initiatives.
    • Stay informed about the latest developments in ESG regulations, standards, and industry trends.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Professional certification in ESG, sustainability, or related areas (including CPA) is a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability, accounting/finance, or related fields.
    • In-depth knowledge of CSRD and other global ESG reporting requirements.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ESG reporting software/tools.
