As the Manager of IT Audit, your expertise in IT processes, IT systems (e.g. Workday, SAP, Salesforce), IT general controls, and new technologies will be instrumental in evaluating the efficiency of our IT systems, processes, and controls to guarantee compliance with regulations, industry benchmarks, and best practices. Under the guidance of the Director of Internal Audit, you'll work closely with diverse teams to pinpoint and address risks, refine internal controls, and fortify the organization's security stance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual IT audit plan based on risk assessment and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct IT audits, including planning, scoping, fieldwork, testing, and reporting, in accordance with established audit methodologies and internal audit standards.
  • Assist with SOX scoping and risk assessment by staying current on changes that may impact the design and/or operating effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Assess the effectiveness of IT controls and governance processes, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for remediation.
  • Lead and coordinate co-sourcing partners, external auditors, and system/control owners to ensure cohesive and collaborative execution.
  • Review and evaluate IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT management, security teams, and business units, to understand IT risks and develop appropriate audit strategies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory developments in IT audit and cybersecurity to enhance audit methodologies and practices.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and management responses for presentation to senior management and the audit committee.
  • Monitor and track the status of audit findings and management responses to ensure timely resolution and closure.
  • Support regulatory examinations and external audits by providing documentation, evidence, and assistance as needed.
  • Foster a culture of compliance, integrity, and continuous improvement within the IT audit team and across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA, CISM) preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of IT governance, risk management, and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, etc.), as well as relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, etc.) and internal audit standards.
  • Expert knowledge of core IT general control processes (e.g., Information Security, Change Management, Program Execution, IT Operations, etc.)
  • Proven track record of planning, executing, and managing complex IT audits in a corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex IT systems and processes and identify control deficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in audit tools and software.
  • Workday experience preferred.
