Lineage Logistics, LLC seeks Senior Manager, Procurement in Novi, MI

Duties: Prepare, submit, evaluate, and manage RFP process within energy category. Negotiate and administer new or expiring energy supplier agreements and contracts. Participate in the development of specifications for products, supplies and substitute materials. Manage energy supplier partnership with organization, ensuring contractual obligations are met, supplier concerns are addressed, and claims against suppliers are resolved. Review purchase orders and energy contracts for conformance to company policy. Source vendors of equipment and supplies (as needed) and assess them to determine strategic alignment with organization, as well product/service availability and terms of sales. Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for energy supplies and related equipment and machinery. Analyze historical spend data to identify new ways to reduce costs and improve quality and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery, trace shipments, follow up on open orders. Administer and manage the Requisition and Purchasing System. Liaise with other departments, particularly Field Operations, Finance, Network Optimization, and Accounting to fully understand impact of energy purchases on organizational bottom line. Assist in developing and implementing purchasing instructions, strategies, policies, and procedures.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field plus 5 years of related experience. Requires 5 Years experience in the following: sustainability transformation; business analytics; operations management (theory and practical); digital transformation strategy development and implementation; people management and project management. Also, requires Sustainability Certification. Requires 30% international travel.
