PositionAs we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint a Transport Planner to join our team in Brisbane.
The primary focus of the role will be to participate in the daily operation and efficient functioning of the Transport team through compliant and proficient scheduling of Queensland Metro and Regional fleet movements. Additionally, the role will also provide effective service to all customers in the most professional manner.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Achieving TRIFR <5 and LTIFR <1
Accurate data entry to support planning, allocating and KPI reporting
Ensuring sub-contractors are compliant under CoR rules and regulations
Managing the schedule (hours) and load weights during fleet allocation to maximise Transport CoR performance
Ensuring Transport cost % is to revenue of 70% (through fleet utilisation and allocation)
Ensuring there are minimal customer service contractual issues (quality) related to Transport performance (less than 5 per year)
Following practices and procedures regarding Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), HACCP and Approved Arrangement guidelines whilst also ensuring Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
Your experience should ideally include:
Planning experience in a similar role (industry experience is preferable)
In-depth understanding of CoR principles (NHVLR, Mass/Fatigue Management)
Knowledge of transport routing in the metropolitan and regional areas
Experience with managing customer relationships and resolution of issues
Understanding of Retail DC receival operations
Industry experience and understanding of refrigerated palletised freight
A high level of competency in the implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality and legality issues
