As the Manager of Operations, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including budgeting, labor scheduling, space and equipment management, safety, security, housekeeping, and sanitation. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our people, processes, and technology work seamlessly together to meet and exceed customer service standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency, productivity, and a strong safety culture within the team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Team Management: Oversee and train direct reports, providing performance feedback and assigning duties to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Operational Improvement: Continuously enhance procedures for verifying shipments, handling merchandise, and maintaining inventory.
• Collaboration: Partner with sales, inventory control, and operations to ensure product availability.
• Labor Planning: Develop long-range labor plans based on sales forecasts and management input.
• KPI Facilitation: Drive the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to cost, productivity, customer service, and team performance.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety among team members.
• Data Analysis: Analyze operational reports to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster partnerships with Finance, HR, Sales, and Continuous Improvement teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: 5 years in warehouse operations or direct management experience.
• WMS Knowledge: Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Management Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development, customer service, and planning.
• Communication Skills: Capable of effectively presenting information to customers, clients, and employees.
• Computer Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Physical Requirements: Able to work in extreme temperatures (-20°F to 100°F) while wearing required personal protective equipment; must lift at least 40 lbs./18 kgs.
• Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends.
• Noise Tolerance: Comfortable in a loud working environment.
