Supervise a team responsible for managing data related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products. Collaborate with Operations and Quality managers to enhance inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate team members to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Prepare daily reports analyzing production and shipping activities.
  • Oversee physical inventory, including audits and cycle counts.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers regarding inventory needs and issues.
  • Review inventory reports to address unused items and manage excess or damaged stock.

Additional Duties

  • Assess systems and controls, providing recommendations for improved inventory efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years of inventory control experience in a warehousing or distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic math skills.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, from -20°F to 100°F, with appropriate gear.
  • Capable of lifting at least 40 lbs, with some variation based on facility.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends.
  • Comfortable in environments with varying noise levels.
