About the role:

Lineage is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Director NZ, you will be an integral member of the finance team. You will undertake the full accounts receivable function for our New Zealand sites.

This role can be based in Hawke's Bay or Christchurch.

What Lineage is looking for:

  • 3 plus years’ experience in accounts receivable preferably in commercial enterprises

  • Advanced skills and knowledge of software applications - bespoke and MS Office

  • Experience using a warehouse management system, particularly service-based billing and inventory modules (Multipick or PX experience would be preferable)

  • Experience in credit management

  • Exceptional at building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills

  • A willingness to understand the business and customer processes underpinning the role

  • An ability to maintain high standards while ensuring timely and accurate processing

  • Role model Lineage’s values and behaviours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completion of all customer invoicing accurately in accordance with deadlines (invoicing is weekly & monthly)

  • Completion of A/R reports for management

  • Ensuring client contracts are accurately set-up

  • Monitoring, analysing and ATB and credit management

  • Managing on-boarding new customers as required

  • Completing and updating customer rate reviews

  • A/R receipting accurately and timely

  • Meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
