At Lineage, we are looking for a Refrigeration & Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair critical equipment, ensuring smooth operations in our fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining our refrigeration systems—including ammonia, Freon, and CO2—while keeping our machinery, infrastructure, and electrical systems in top shape.

What You’ll Do

✔️ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, motors, and material handling equipment
✔️ Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
✔️ Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and wiring to keep operations running efficiently
✔️ Conduct inspections and maintain detailed records in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
✔️ Work alongside contractors when needed to ensure safe and compliant system maintenance
✔️ Utilize motorized lifts and other tools to perform hands-on work

What We’re Looking For

✅ 3+ years of mechanical experience maintaining warehouse, manufacturing, or motorized equipment
✅ 2+ years of industrial refrigeration experience (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2) or a combination of experience and trade school
✅ Ability to read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) (preferred at some locations)
✅ Experience with electrical instrumentation and troubleshooting
✅ Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
✅ Comfortable working in cold storage environments (-20°F) or dry storage (up to 100°F) with provided PPE
✅ Ability to lift 40+ lbs. and work at heights as needed

Bonus:
📍 Completion of Refrigeration Operator 1 (CARO) certification within 6 months of hire is encouraged
📍 Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for reporting and documentation
