About the role

We are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our team at Lineage in Whakatu Hawkes Bay. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis and management reporting to support the strategic decision-making of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, KPI’s and Metrics.

• Analyse financial data and provide insightful recommendations to the management team

• Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the finance function

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a management accounting or commercial finance role

• Proficient in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be an advantage

• Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office applications
