Position Details

We’re now seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead our Engineering team in Singapore, overseeing all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance, safety and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary engineering team, cultivating a high-performing culture built on trust, accountability, and respect.

  • Overseeing all facilities and equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

  • Monitoring performance of both internal teams and contractors using robust KPIs, audits and verification processes.

  • Developing and implementing long-term asset strategies, including capital planning and system upgrades.

  • Representing Engineering on the local leadership team, contributing to business-wide strategy and decision-making.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Transport, Customer Service, HR, and IT, ensuring engineering solutions support broader business objectives.

  • Champion safety-first thinking, ensuring all worksites and practices meet safety regulations and uphold Lineage’s highest standards.

  • Designing and implementing systems and processes that drive continuous improvement in reliability, efficiency, and service delivery.

  • Manage external stakeholders including tenants and carriers to maintain productive partnerships and ensure seamless operations.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree or advanced diploma in Engineering and/or extensive experience in facilities/maintenance within a logistics or industrial setting.

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and contractors in a complex, high-volume environment.

  • Deep understanding of safety, building, and engineering codes, with a hands-on approach to compliance and risk management.

  • Experience managing projects, budgets and assets with financial discipline and strategic foresight.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you know how to engage and influence across all levels of the business.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience working with hazardous substances or industrial refrigeration systems.

  • Knowledge of automated storage/retrieval systems, or previous experience in shipping or logistics.

  • Familiarity with lean tools, CMMS systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
