Administer the Lineage Safety Program to ensure a safe, controlled, and risk-free environment while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Promote a safety culture with the goal of achieving an incident-free work environment.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Note: Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required for audits or accident investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Train new Compliance Practitioners and provide ongoing guidance and support

• Collaborate with Operations to resolve facility and customer-related issues

• Conduct thorough accident investigations and ensure safety policies are clearly communicated and followed

• Lead meetings to communicate updates to safety policies and procedures, and address any quality or safety concerns

• Monitor safety supply inventory and coordinate with Operations for replenishment needs

• Maintain accurate and organized records, including safety logs, binders, and compliance documentation

Additional Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions and events as directed by the Operations team

• Facilitate safety orientations for new hires as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a safety compliance or related role

• Food safety experience preferred (PCQI training a plus)

• Strong public speaking and presentation skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and reporting standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments, ranging from -20°F (cold storage) to 100°F (dry storage), with proper PPE provided

• Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels
