The Strategy & Technical Project Management team works across the pillars to enable Data Science to work most effectively and to act as force multipliers.
We are seeking an Associate Technical Project Manager to lead teams consisting of Lineage technical resources, contractors and partners elsewhere in Lineage through the completion of projects implicating Lineage Data Science. These projects encompass the following:
• Mature products that require ongoing deployment momentum, process optimization, and operational maintenance
• New software products being established within existing programs that enhance operational excellence at Lineage
• Emerging technoloAgies in need of tailored roadmaps and sustainable delivery processes

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiates and manages multiple technical projects and/or programs for the organization that are large to very complex in nature through integration of requirement definition, project planning, and resource direction to meet corporate objectives in conjunction with the enterprise project portfolio
  • Oversees the continued deployment and scaling of mature software products, ensuring consistent momentum, operational reliability, and adherence to best practices
  • Coordinates ongoing maintenance efforts for established technologies, collaborating with engineering, support, and infrastructure teams to ensure sustained performance and stability
  • Maintains a clear understanding of the organizational priorities and the economic climate in order to guide internal roadmaps, mitigate risk, and address critical and time-sensitive industry challenges
  • Partners with project sponsors, project teams and other project managers to ensure new initiatives are scoped effectively, communicated appropriately and deployed smoothly
  • Integrates project plans and schedules from multiple sources to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed project plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters
  • Coordinates and directs development resources in the implementation of designed project objectives, solutions and deliverables
  • Mentors teams on best practices, goal setting, process improvement and project management skills
  • Adapts project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout projects to respond to emerging requirements and risks
  • Writes and presents updates to various stakeholders, adhering to project deadlines with project stakeholders, internal customers and upper management regarding the overall status of the project
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements strategies to increase efficiency, reduce administrative overhead and facilitate cross-team collaboration
  • Willing to undertake Domestic and/or international travel

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • B.S. in engineering, computer science, mathematics, business administration or related field from a top-20 national university (M.S. preferred)
  • Minumum 1 year of experience (either full-time or internship equivalent) in industrial technology, with preferred emphasis on warehousing, operations research, or AI
  • Direct experience and practical application of software-focused project management and delivery methodologies and tools

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to deliver on commitments (high quality, on budget, on time) while working on multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to hold team members accountable, set clear performance standards, keep team engaged and on task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interface with and understand technical experts in the fields of operations research, robotics, mathematical optimization and applied physics.
  • Acts decisively for improvement in both projects and in the organization, addresses urgent, time sensitive or crisis issues
  • Leadership skills to align project and department goals with the organization's and sponsor's goals
  • Experience with working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work non-standard hours to support delivery of time-critical project deadlines
  • Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies
Pay Range:$75,400.00 - $135,600.00
