Pay: $16 - 21/hr DOE

Shift: 4:00 AM or 6:00 AM start time, Tu, Th-Sa (4x10 schedule)

As a Yard Driver, you’ll play a critical role in moving trailers in and out of dock doors, supporting our shipping and receiving teams, and making sure everything runs on time, while keeping safety as your top priority.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely move trailers to and from dock doors based on supervisor or shipping office instructions.
• Check and set trailer/yard temperatures and add fuel when needed.
• Perform daily inspections on your spotter truck and related equipment.
• Report any defects, accidents, traffic violations, or equipment damage.
• Keep accurate logs of trailer movements and fuel usage.
• Communicate with the team to ensure seamless trailer flow.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect trailer inventory and report irregularities.
• Perform sanitation duties on trailers as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• At least 6 months of tractor trailer and/or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Ability to follow instructions in the facility’s working language.
• Strength to lift at least 40 lbs. (more depending on location).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Pay Range:$15.50 - $26.06
