Facility Maintenance Manager (Ammonia Refrigeration)

What You’ll Do
Lead, train, and support a team of 3 strong technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Oversee daily maintenance operations and use the CMMS system to plan, schedule, and track work.
Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM), environmental, fire, and workplace safety programs.
Partner with the General Manager on budgets, labor, and materials—providing input on capital projects and energy management solutions.
Provide creative solutions to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and support energy efficiency initiatives.
Be a trusted problem solver for day-to-day equipment or facility issues.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of facility maintenance management experience, ideally in cold storage, manufacturing, or distribution.
Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems (Freon or CO2 experience a plus).
Strong knowledge of PSM requirements and compliance.
Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (comfortable working with up to 480V).
Proficiency with computers and CMMS systems (Microsoft Office Suite and related software).
A natural leader who communicates well, motivates others, and can collaborate across teams.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term planning.
