Facilities/MHE/Refrigeration Maintenance Technician III
Lineage Logistics
What You’ll Do
Install, maintain, and repair ammonia, Freon, and/or CO₂ refrigeration systems, ensuring they operate safely and meet design specifications.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems, building infrastructure, plumbing, and material handling equipment (MHE).
Troubleshoot equipment and complete work orders, logging all details in our CMMS system.
Conduct inspections, testing, and reporting to keep leadership informed of equipment status.
Support contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Use motorized lifts and other tools for inspections, calibrations, and repairs.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of hands-on ammonia refrigeration experience (Freon and/or CO₂ also valued).
Certifications such as CARO or Refrigeration Operator I (or willingness to complete within 6 months).
3+ years of mechanical experience in warehouse, processing, or manufacturing environments (trade school experience counts).
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, CMMS).
Clear verbal and written communication skills to share technical updates with all levels of the team.
What You Should Know
Flexibility is key—this role may require overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
You’ll work in a variety of environments: from cold storage (-20°F) to dry storage (up to 100°F) with company-provided PPE.
Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. (depending on facility needs).
Some locations may require working at height training.
