Job Summary:
As a Consulting Analyst on the Client Analytics team at mPulse, you will support healthcare clients by transforming complex data into actionable insights that inform strategy and improve program performance. This role blends hands-on analytics with client engagement responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys data exploration, collaborative problem-solving, and communicating results. You’ll contribute to a wide range of client-facing initiatives, including population health strategy, campaign performance, and reporting innovation, while deepening your technical and consultative skills in a mission-driven environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze healthcare data to uncover patterns and inform client strategies.
- Support the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate performance and insights.
- Assist in preparing and refining data for modeling, reporting, and campaign design efforts.
- Work with Customer Success, Product, Engineering and Engagement teams to ensure client objectives are met.
- Translate business questions into data queries and reports using SQL and visualization tools.
- Contribute to the development of scalable, semi-automated analytic processes.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, supporting senior consultants with insights and deliverables.
- Support quality control efforts by documenting assumptions, checking output, and following best practices in data management.
Skills/Abilities/Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in SQL; willingness to develop expertise in querying large, complex datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain findings to non-technical audiences.
- Background in healthcare data, health insurance operations, or population health.
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools preferred.
- Familiarity with statistical tools or modeling techniques (e.g., R, Python, SAS) a plus but not required.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in an analytics or data support role, preferably in healthcare or consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs. weight.
