Job Summary:mPulse Mobile seeks an experienced data analyst to track metrics, use reporting tools, and analyze data in order to solve problems and assist in decision-making. Useful skills include knowledge of SQL and R, and experience with data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and statistical analysis. The data analyst will work with all organizational units but most closely with the account managers and our behavioral data scientist to solve business problems and respond to the needs of our healthcare clients.Address: 860 Honeyspot Road Stratford, CT 06615 Duties/Responsibilities: Learn the structure of mPulse Mobile’s data and the metrics that drive the businessPerform ad hoc analyses and data extraction requestsActively build processes and tools to make data more accessibleDrive the monitoring, analysis, and improvement of campaign performanceWork in a cross-functional team to implement data-driven plans designed to optimize user engagementTeach others how to use data effectively Skills/Abilities/Experience: Min 2+ years' experience in a data analyst roleSolid experience in data analysis and visualizationStrong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions based on dataSome ability to do basic scripting or data manipulation would be helpful (e.g. SQL, Python, Excel, R)Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling multiple projectsBachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related disciplineData hungry, willingness and aptitude for learningGood interpersonal communication and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented and passionate Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and sit for extended period of time.Ability to lift 50 lbs. weight
