Job Summary:

mPulse is seeking a data-driven Marketing Automation & Data Specialist to help power our demand generation engine by optimizing marketing technology, automating outreach, and delivering actionable performance insights. In this role, you'll be responsible for building, executing, and continuously improving automated marketing campaigns and sales outreach programs while ensuring accurate reporting across the marketing funnel.
As a key member of the Growth Marketing team, you'll own the systems, integrations, and processes that drive marketing operations. Working across platforms including Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Gong, and Chili Piper, you'll ensure data flows seamlessly from first touch through sales, customer retention, and advocacy. You'll also play a critical role in measuring and reporting on campaign performance, helping marketing and commercial leaders make informed, data-driven decisions.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations Manager, you'll partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Sales Operations to maintain data integrity, optimize workflows, and document best practices across our marketing technology ecosystem. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role with significant visibility and the opportunity to directly influence pipeline growth and business outcomes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Monitor data flow across all connected systems, troubleshoot sync errors, and resolve issues before they impact downstream work.
Manage the lead lifecycle end-to-end: capture, validation, scoring, routing, conversion, and ensure leads progress through each stage accurately and on time.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot marketing automation workflows, lead routing, and lifecycle processes.
Maintain CRM data integrity and quality standards, recognizing that the data is used by teams and systems across the organization.
Build and maintain campaigns across the marketing automation platform and CRM to establish structure, naming, and tagging standards.
Build and quality-check marketing emails, forms, and landing pages; validate all assets before testing; and allow sufficient lead time for stakeholder review.
Manage all list processing from intake through CRM delivery.
Build and maintain marketing reporting and dashboards, validating accuracy before distribution.
Analyze campaign and channel performance and deliver written recaps that include findings and recommendations.
Support attribution and funnel reporting, including tracking governance and conversion measurement from first touch through the pipeline.
Partner with Sales Development and Sales Operations on list quality, campaign readiness, lead handoff, and reporting.
Support marketing operations projects and platform migrations, including documentation, data preparation, and testing.
Administer the marketing technology stack and integrations between platforms, including field mappings, sync rules, and data flow between the marketing automation platform and CRM.
Maintain documented operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Skills/Abilities/Experience:

Demonstrated ability to analyze data independently. Reconcile information across systems, identify discrepancies, determine root causes, and explain findings and recommendations in writing.
Strong attention to detail, with a track record of verifying work before it reaches stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage assigned work to completion independently, raising blockers and questions early rather than allowing work to stall.
High level of proficiency with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems, including workflows, campaign structures, and system integrations.
Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and manipulation of large data files.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize competing deliverables, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively across Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales Operations to achieve shared pipeline and reporting goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in marketing operations and marketing automation, or a comparable systems role with hands-on platform ownership.
2+ years of Salesforce experience, including campaign attribution, reporting, lead conversion, and field mapping.
Hands-on analytics experience: analyzing data, building reports from scratch, reconciling data across systems, and drawing conclusions from the results.
Working experience administering an enterprise marketing automation platform.
Working familiarity with customer data platform concepts, including data modeling, identity resolution, and segmentation; or demonstrated ability to learn a new platform quickly, evidenced by a prior migration or implementation.
Demonstrated experience with data hygiene practices, including deduplication, suppression, list validation, and resolving integration sync errors.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

SQL proficiency for querying CRM or data warehouse records.
Experience supporting a marketing platform migration or customer data platform (CDP) implementation.
Familiarity with Marketing Cloud Next, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Gong, Chili Piper, and RingLead
Salesforce certification
Experience supporting account-based marketing programs.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and sit for extended period of time.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. weight.
