Director, Income Tax Provision

- Manage and oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740 guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and international tax regulations while identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.
- Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of tax audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the company's financial statements and tax positions.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external partners to facilitate effective communication and cooperation on tax-related matters.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive process improvements, optimize tax efficiency, and enhance overall financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation and review of tax-related disclosures for external financial reporting, including footnotes and management discussion and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax accounting, with a proven track record of managing tax provisions and compliance, preferably in a global corporate setting.
- Strong expertise in ASC 740 (formerly known as FAS 109) tax accounting standards and related financial reporting requirements.
