As a General Ledger Accountant, you are responsible for the accounting of one or more Lineage entities. You will work closely with colleagues from Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within the shared service center and discuss the figures with Business Control on a monthly basis. Your main goal is to keep a reliable and complete financial administration!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for periodic reconciliations of the general ledger calculations

• You take ownership of the general ledger and ensure that entries are made in accordance with relevant accounting rules.

• You look at improvements in efficiency and the reliability of the administrations.

• You support the year-end closing and the annual accounts audit by the external auditor.

• You make a number of VAT returns.

• You maintain one or more personnel related bookings such as provision vacation days, costs hiring staff and hiring and lending staff to other Lineage entities.

• You supervise the intercompany reconciliations of your entities and take part of this for your account

• You ensure that entries and balances of general ledger accounts are documented.

Who are we looking for?

• HBO working and thinking level

• Several years of experience in a (similar) administrative role

• Knowledge of automated (financial) data processing

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• You always work accurately and in a structured manner.

• You are an enthusiastic, inquisitive colleague and someone who takes initiatives.

• You work independently and you come into your own in a team.

• You can express yourself well in English, both in writing and orally.
