Having drastically increased our European footprint in a short period with now +70 locations across 10 European countries. Benelux is one of our biggest regions with 18 locations in the Netherlands and 3 in Belgium and with approximately 1300 employees. In the Benelux our business is diverse and includes cold storage, stewadoring, freight forwarding, blending and transport.
HR Business Partner
Salary range: €45,000-€64,000 depending of experience
We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our Benelux HR team. Due to recent acquisitions a large part of our focus is on harmonization, guiding transformation whilst undergoing changes as an HR dept as well as a business, adopting new ways of working and running global programs driving change.
In this role the area of responsibilities is managing 5 sites with circa 280 employees in total, being supported by the Area HR Manager. In our organization its important that HR is present and available for all sites so travelling on a weekly basis is essential.
We have a flexible environment with good opportunities to work from home and the most frequent site visits will be to Gameren, Beneden Leeuwen and Rotterdam-Maasvlakte.
You give advice in the field of various HR aspects, such as management development, training & development, employee engagement, recruitment & selection and absenteeism
Managing HR administration, draws up employment contracts or ensures that they are drawn up by the HR Back Office
Is the point of contact for employees and Managers in the field of HR
Rolling out and (monitoring) compliance with central and global policies, regulations, processes and systems, supervising and coordinating recurring HR processes
You actively contribute (as a project member) to improvement, harmonization and implementation projects both locally as well as on global initiatives
Partner with the local Management team to offer information and support when requested
In consultation with the Area HR Manager, ensures that an employment contract is terminated correctly at the employer's initiative (building up a file, applying for a dismissal permit, dissolution by the sub-district court judge)
Support the talent acquisition team and/or wider HR team, advising on the market, salary or conducts employment condition discussions with candidates and/or advises recruiter

We are looking for an energetic and service minded HR professional with a can-do attitude that thrives on change and learning new areas. Previous experience working as a HR advisor or HR Business Partner, independently advising management and employees on HR broad topics: policies and regulations, individual development, performance, absenteeism is essential for this role
You have experience with development processes and culture change
You have a high degree of independence and enjoy driving change
Previous experience in working in a matrix environment is highly beneficial but not necessary
Excellent knowledge of MS office specifically Excel, Word, Power point, Teams and Outlook as well as knowledge in using HR systems; such as Workday and ADP
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English language
Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or comparable would be beneficial
Used to create and explain HR reporting
